IRNZ was presented with a new type of wooden telecommunications tower due to the environment in the area and the wind loading created by cyclones.
IRNZ sent a team of rope access technicians and riggers to work on the islands of Upolo and Savaai.
Using a mixture of Gin poles and cranes they were able to achieve the dead lines set and install cabling and antennas for the client as well |

NEXT G REPEATER PROJECT FOR TELSTRA AUSTRALIA |

Project Duration: 22 weeks
IRNZ was asked to provide riggers for an upgrade rollout in Australia.
This was a Australia wide project working on remote Repeater sites in the outback
Team members were sent to install new steel work, antennas, and feeders for the upgrade to the 3G system.
Sites and schedules meant long drives and many flights across Australia with all our rigging equipment.
IRNZ contributed multi skilled staff to this project which were called upon time and again to problem solve on the move. |

Project Duration: 2 days
Tegal foods Ltd needed to inspect the fire sprinklers in one section of the factory until now the only access was to build a scaffold up nearly 20 meters with disruption to the operation of the plant.
Using rope access we filmed existing sprinkler equipment. After consultation with Wormold we replace one of the sprinkler heads and Tegal feed mills received there building compliance all with out the associated costs of scaffolding and any disruption to the plant. |

IRNZ have provided specialist communications Riggers to several different contractors on south island Vodafone sites including new 3G installs, upgrading existing sites and Fault finding work. You may also see us in the north Island from time to time.
This work is ongoing and includes placing of steel work onto towers, running of RF cable, Antenna Installations, and new mono pole erection. |

This project involved a very quick mobilization of only one week with all tower construction taking place in remote locations.
IRNZ were considered the best and quickest tower constructers on this project by Digicel. |

This is an ongoing contract to clean product and materials bins in the Hornby feed mill plant. And to under take other heights and confined space work with 6 month reports on roof top safety. |
